My Friend found out today that the Judge in his case has recused herself. The timing is coincidental (or not) to other events that were put into place.
He has also filed his own appeal and has asked for investigation into misconduct by the mothers attorneys throughout the case and in the Visit Saga. He asked that the Court order that made no sense, be stayed and/or amended and that a new hearing be ordered as well. Hopefully he is successful.
The Hospital fiasco is being investigated by the Insurance Company as well as those from the Hospital own task force on these matters. Someone is in trouble over this.
He did not hear back from the County District Attorney today but has made inquiries with the US Attorney’s office as the situation went across state lines. Maybe he will hear tomorrow. He has some suspicions as to what may be going on legally in the Criminal matter but will wait and see before telling me.
I am proud of my friend. He would not let people lie about him or push him around or treat him the way they did. Now justice seems to be back on track and people who have done illegal things and unethical things will have to pay the price. Had anyone bothered to try and do this the right way there would have been a whole different outcome. Sadly the outright lies of one person that may have been believed by others will cause many people to pay the price and lives and livelyhoods may be affected because ONE person told so many lies and refused to accept responsibility and deal with things in a reasonable way. no wonder trust has to be earned again before things can or will change.
